Miracles

Growing up I was always plagued by allergies. I had terrible Hay Fever. I spent the entire spring and summer sneezing. In spring, my teachers would sometimes send me to the nurse because they were sure I had a cold. Medication provided some relief. Going to the beach and breathing fresh sea air was the only real relief. At age 20 I moved with my wife from Long Island to the Upper Perkiomen Valley in Pennsylvania. That is a long way from the ocean. My home on Long Island was in a very wooded area. I did not realize renting a cabin in the woods in Pennsylvania would make my Hay Fever worse, but it did. I was miserable. So I did what I should have done years earlier. I decided to believe God to heal me. Now. And He did. I sneezed 7 times, and was totally healed. I have not had Hay Fever in 30 years.

At 21, my first child was born. A beautiful healthy girl, and still the joy of my life. (I have four other Joys of my Life now.) She had one small problem, she was born with a cleft palate. It was totally undetectable from just looking at her face, but the pediatrician found it when he examined her. When he showed it to me, it looked like the entire roof of her mouth was missing. The first thing we did was pray and trust God, and then I called my pastor. My church prayed and believed God with me

Since there was little to work with, the doctor said it would require many surgeries to correct, lasting until age 12. We continued to believe God for healing. Within two weeks, her cleft palate had gone from almost the entire roof of her mouth to only about 1/3 open. By the time she was scheduled for surgery at age 2, the opening was only a small fraction of what it was when she was born. It required only one surgery to repair.
